- The Lady Mocs win their 11th straight game with an 83-64 win over Elon...UTC improves to 16-6 on the year and 11-2 in SoCon action...Chattanooga remains in first place in the regular season race...Elon falls to 8-14 on the year and 3-10 in the SoCon.
- Chattanooga's 11-game winning streak is tied for the sixth longest in school history...it is the longest streak since UTC won 24 in 2007...school record is 27 in a row in the 2003-04 season.
- Lady Mocs had three players record a double-double - senior Shanara Hollinquest (14 pts, 10 rebs), senior Jenaya Wade-Fray (21 pts, 10 rebs) and freshman Michelle Davis (20 pts, 19 rebs).
- Lady Mocs are 14-1 all-time against Elon, avenging their only loss in the series suffered earlier in the season (74-66 at Elon on Dec. 17)...that game was also the last time UTC has lost.
- UTC had 20 offensive rebounds, leading to 19 second-chance points...Elon only had 10 offensive boards and six second-chance points.
- Lady Mocs took advantage of the Phoenix miscues, scoring 25 points on just 16 Elon turnovers.
- There was a surprisingly-large crowd tonight, despite the wintry conditions outside...2002 fans made their way to McKenzie Arena for the game...fourth largest home crowd of the season.

Freshman Michelle Davis
- Came off the bench for her first career double-double with a career-high 20 points and 19 rebounds...19 boards is a career-high and tied for the most by a SoCon player this season...most boards by a Lady Moc since Katarika Banks had 19 against College of Charleston on Jan. 9, 1999.
- Shot 8-20 from the field, 1-4 from 3-pt. range and 3-5 from the FT line
- Had 12 boards in the first half
- 12.8 ppg and 8.4 rpg in the last five games
Senior Shanara Hollinquest
- 11th double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds...only had two points and three boards at the break...26 double-doubles on the year
- 4-7 from the field, 1-1 from 3-pt. range and 5-6 from the FT line
- Third 3-pt. FG of the year and first since hitting one at Elon on Dec. 17
- Has 1,517 career points...ranks sixth all-time at UTC...needs 216 to pass Anex Anderson (2004-08) for fifth all-time
- 789 career rebounds...seventh all-time at UTC...needs 54 more to pass Denise Powers (1976-80) for sixth all-time
Senior Jenaya Wade-Fray
- Third career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds
- Shot 8-19 from the field, 3-9 from 3-pt. range and 2-6 from the FT line
- Scored 17 points in the first half
- Ties a career-high with 10 boards
- Season-high five assists
- Four steals is one shy of a career-high
- Averaging 17.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg in the last four games
