NCAA GAMEDAY: Mocs vs. Louisville

The Mocs and Cardinals will meet for the second time this season. Louisville came away with a 63-47 win over the Mocs in November in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Women's Challenge. Chattanooga was led in scoring by senior Queen Alford who had 20 points, five rebounds and was 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Senior Jasmine Joyner had 15 rebounds, seven blocked shots and three steals but was held to just two points in the contest. Freshman Lakelyn Bouldin, starting her third game, had 10 points for Chattanooga.

The Mocs are 21-10 overall and tied Mercer for the Southern Conference regular season title at 12-2. Chattanooga was the No. 1 seed in the league tournament after sweeping the Bears in the regular season. After getting past both Western Carolina and UNCG in the first two rounds, the Mocs poured on the offense late and overcame a 13-point deficit in the third quarter for a 61-59 win over Mercer in the tournament final.

No Louisville player scored in double figures against UTC. Six scored seven or more points led by Mariya Moore's nine points and seven rebounds. Myshia Hines-Allen had a team-best 10 rebounds and seven points. Ciera Johnson, Briahanna Jackson and Jazmine Jones each contributed eight points Louisville had a seven-game win streak snap with a loss to Notre Dame in the semifinal of the ACC Tournament.
