Box Score The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team posted a 7-0 sweep over Montreat today.  The Mocs and Cavaliers played on the Covenant College Courts on Lookout Mountain this evening. 

The Mocs won all 10 matches, opening with a three-match sweep in doubles.  The Mocs posted 6-0 shutouts at No. 1 and No. 2, but the No. 3 match was contested.  Freshmen Cooper Long and Jacob Marshall held off Anh Hoang and Ben Cree for a 7-5 win.

UTC scored straight-sets win in all six singles matches.  In fact, until only dropped six games total today.  Sophomore Niklas Gerdes set the pace with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 1, his fifth in a row. 

Chattanooga is back in action on Sunday at Georgia Southern at 11:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) in Statesboro, Ga.
