Mocs Fall to Arkansas in Regular Season Finale

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team wrapped up the 2019 regular season with a 4-0 loss to No. 44 Arkansas at McCallie's Strang-Voges Tennis Center tonight. The Razorbacks were a late addition to the schedule after Alabama-Huntsville cancelled the previously scheduled match for Sunday.
The two teams played clinch in singles and doubles, accounting for the 2-hour affair. Sophomores Bogdana Zaporozhets and Emma Van Hee were both leading their first sets at No. 3 and No. 5, respectively, when the outcome was decided.
Next up for the Mocs (8-12, 1-6 SoCon) is the Southern Conference Tournament in Macon, Ga. UTC opens against No. 1 seed Furman on Thursday, April 18, at 8:30 a.m. (E.D.T.). A link for live scoring will be posted on the women's tennis schedule page on GoMocs.com.
