The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team scored a 7-0 win over Union College at the Baylor School's Guerry Tennis Center in Chattanooga, Tenn., today.  The Mocs opened the season with a clean sweep over the Bulldogs. 

UTC won all three doubles matches by 6-2 scores.  They kept up their strong play in singles with straight-sets wins at every position. 

Freshman Jessie Young led the way with a (6-3, 7-5) victory over Isidora Patkovic at No. 1.  Junior Bogdana Zaporozhets was also pushed in her second set at No. 2, pulling out the (6-0, 7-5) win against Ljiljana Pajcin.

Freshman Callie Billman had a strong showing in her dual match debut  She defeated Alba Rodenas Risueno (6-1, 6-1).

Up next for the Mocs is a trip to Austin Peay tomorrow.  First serve in Clarksville, Tenn., is set for 2:00 p.m. (E.S.T.).
