Head Coach Katie Burrows:
Opening statement.
"We didn't hit the shots that we needed to and didn't get the stops that we needed to. Cincinnati had someone who just took it and put the game on her shoulders. They did a really good job of finishing at the end and we couldn't hit the necessary shots we needed to to get over the hump. The first half killed us; we couldn't score, and we kept turning it over. The kids fought, we only had four turnovers in the second half and none in the fourth quarter, so they did do a good job adjusting."

On the team not quitting.
"They won't. There were times we tried to play too much one-on-one ball. I keep telling them we are better together. It's all good intentions and knowing when to kick it and when to reverse it. We are going to learn a lot from this film and hats off to Cincinnati for getting it done at the end. There are a lot of positives, specifically in the second and fourth quarter. Overall, It is a result of not putting four quarters together."

On the end of the game after getting within one.
"After we got back within one, we missed a couple of possessions and then started taking quick shots. We have to reel it back in and move the ball and understand that's when we'll be successful."

Positive takeaways from the game.
"We took better care of the ball in the second half and outrebounded them on the offensive boards. They are a bigger team than we are so that is a testament to our grit. The things we talked about in the locker room…we did a better job with those in the second half."
