On falling in the close games
"We've got to find a way to finish. We've been here now three times and just haven't closed the deal and so you know, I gotta go back to the drawing board and figure out how I can help them finish these things. Winning is hard and it's just like winning and doing those things that are habits so is losing. We're trying to break some, you know, some plays down the stretch and we just kind of lose our mind a little bit. Again, I thought our kids competed their tails off. They're playing so hard for our staff, our university and we just got to find a way to play a little bit smarter down the stretch so we can finish some of these games off."
 
 
On making turnovers
"Yeah, it is the problem. The reality is we just we lose it. I don't know how else to describe it besides we lose them. They pick up the pressure a little bit. Alright, have a little confidence in yourself, protect the ball. We're not at their pace. We're at our pace and I got to do a better job coaching them. That's the reality of it. We're turning it over way too much and this game is, in my opinion, is definitely we didn't get enough shots."
 
 
On the lack of 'quit' in the team
"I'm super proud of them. I mean, they're playing super, super hard and we're not playing a bunch of bodies because again, I've kind of made my mind up and I told them this. I'm putting people out there that I trust that are going to try to compete their tails off and make mistakes with good intent. And when I mean intent, they're trying to do it the way we're asked to do it and that's what this group is doing. They're gonna fight. They're going to compete. I'm sure there's gonna be some heads down in there and we gotta pick it right back up and we're right back at it on Monday. We have no time to feel sorry because Kennesaw State's going to pressure us, pressure us, pressure us."
