CHATTANOOGA (December 8, 2025) --- The Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team aims to snap its two-game slide with a Tuesday night non-conference matchup against NAIA-member Oakwood (AL) inside McKenzie Arena. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. (ET) on ESPN+.

• Chattanooga (4-5) dropped its second-straight game after falling 74-70 at home to Southeast Missouri State on Saturday... game featured 19 lead changes and 13 ties... no team led by more than 5+ points for the entire 40 minutes.
 
RARE HOME DEFEATS
• Chattanooga's home loss to SEMO on Saturday marked the first time since January 2023 the program dropped consecutive home games... first time since December 2012 with consecutive losses to non-conference opponents.
 
LETTING THE THREE FLY
• Mocs rank 20th in NCAA DI this season in 3FGA per game (30.6)... 21+ attempts in eight of nine games... 124 attempts over the past four games (31.0)... ranks 30th in 3FGM per game (10.6)... 131st in 3PT% (34.9).

• Oakwood (3-8) posted a close 80-79 road win over Washington Adventist on Sunday night in Takoma Park, Maryland... win snapped a two-game skid... Ambassadors are 2-2 over its past four games.
• Oakwood's Jordan Bell currently leads the HBCU NAIA Conference in scoring at 22.6 PPG this season... also averaging 5.8 RPG, 1.4 APG and 1.3 SPG... has scored 20+ points in eight games this season... scored a season-high 39 points at Tennessee Southern on November 4.
