Women's ITA Ohio Valley Regional

The Chattanooga Mocs women’s tennis program captured three total main draw victories including two in singles over the weekend.

CHATTANOOGA (October 12, 2026) — The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis program competed at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio, over the weekend and featured a trio of Liam Oved, Addison Iacono and Rufaro Magarira in main draw singles action.

Liam Oved defeated MTSU's Victoria Matasova (6-3, 4-6, 6-4) and Addison Iacono downed Austin Peay's Yi-Ching Huang (6-3, 6-2) in the opening round of 64 before each exiting from the bracket in the round of 32. Rufaro Magaria, who suffered an opening round defeat, earned a bid into the main draw after posting consecutive wins in the qualifying stage.

In doubles, the duo of Jordan Fenton and Ella Mancuso notched a round of 32 appearance in the main draw after their opening round matchup (Kentucky) was forced to withdraw due to illness. Fenton and Mancuso nearly made a round of 16 appearance but ultimately fell in a back-and-forth tiebreak battle to ETSU's Niyati Kukreti and Uta Asakura, 8-7 (7).
