Lamar used a pair of multi‑run innings and a complete game from starter Kaylee Cuevas to pull away, scoring twice in the second and four more in the fourth to seize control.
Â
Chattanooga put runners on throughout the afternoon but stranded 10, breaking through only once in the seventh.
Annika Segedi worked a walk to set up the Mocs' lone run, and
Mia Leone delivered an RBI double to left to plate Segedi and put UTC on the board.
