CHATTANOOGA (March 6, 2026) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team is set to open Southern Conference action on Saturday morning against The Citadel at home outdoors at the UTC Tennis Center on campus. First service is set for 10 a.m. (ET).
Chattanooga (4-6) has won two of its last three matches and will look to bounce back from a tight 4-3 defeat to Presbyterian last time out last Sunday. The Citadel (2-13, 0-2 SoCon) has already competed in two league matches thus far, dropping a 6-1 decision at Wofford and falling 5-2 at home to UNCG.

Chattanooga (4-6) will look to earn its ninth-straight win in Southern Conference openers, a streak that dates all the way to 2013 with the program's last league-opening defeat coming on March 10, 2012 (L, 3-4) to Elon. The Mocs are coming off a tight 4-3 defeat to Presbyterian last Sunday at home while the squad has played in three-straight matches decided by a point and four of its last five.
About The Citadel
The Citadel (2-13, 0-2) has dropped four-straight matches and will look to claim its first league win of the season after previously dropping its first two of the campaign to Wofford and UNCG a few weeks ago. The Bulldogs will also look for its first-ever win in the Scenic City during its 22
nd total visit.
