The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf is second after 18 holes of the Southern Conference Championships at Columbia Country Club. Quotable
"I think our goal is to put ourselves in the mix each round, and I think they did a great job with that, Everybody just stayed in the moment and was really solid all day." – Coach Katie Woodruff on the day overall

"Just take what we were given and not get too far ahead. We did a good job at calculating the numbers and being really aggressive to your spot versus trying to play safe because the greens are firm and being worried about the bounce. I think it's kind of a mindset, and I thought they did a really good job of just playing really aggressive to their spot." – Woodruff on play into firm greens

"I just hit fairways and greens, and I two or one putted them. And then my six, seven, eight footers were good. They saved me throughout the round, so that's always nice. Everybody really played well together, we all pulled our weight. I'm proud of all of them. We have two days left, so anything can happen." – Makenzie Cooper on her day
