CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga outdoor track and field team hits the road for Samford's Josh Reidinger Invitational in Homewood, Ala., Friday.
 
EV McGowan will compete in her first 3000 meter Steeplechase Friday while a contingent of seven Mocs will run the 1500 meter.
 
Ava McGue, Aalvinee Torrance and Kolbee Webb will run the 200 and 400 meter dashes while Norah Haney competes in the Javelin, 100 meter hurdles and high jump. Halle Carden will look to improve on her already impressive performance this season in the high jump as well as the long jump.
