Braidech Honor Amplifies Men’s Golf’s Championships Run

Camden Braidech

Camden Braidech claimed the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award at the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa.

Overview
The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team made just the third team run to the NCAA Championships. The group claimed the third of five spots at the Bryan Regionals to become one of 30 teams to make up the finals field. The Mocs were sandwiched by Texas and Texas A&M in the top two spots and followed by North Carolina and Tennessee.

That success opened the doors to a very special honor. The Mocs success on the course amplified the work that comes off it as well.

Quotable
"We're very proud of the work of our student-athletes in all phases of collegiate experience. Championship work on the course is always easy to notice, but what our programs do in the classroom and in the community matches performances that are front and center. Congratulations to Camden for earning national recognition for his complete performance as a Moc." – Vice Chancellor for Athletics Mark Wharton
