Clare joined the program in September 2015 as assistant coach. She mainly works with outfielders and catchers, as well as hitting.
Hosack came to Chattanooga from Baylor, where she served as a student-coach for one season and played as a four-year letter winner.
During Hosack's year of coaching under Glen Moore, the Bears posted a 41-17 record and made an appearance in the College World Series.
Clare was a catcher and played in the College World Series twice, during her freshman (2011) and senior seasons (2014). Both years the Bears made a run to the semifinals.
As soon as she stepped foot on Baylor's campus, Hosack made an impact. Her freshman season included 48 games played with 45 starts. She also tied for second on the squad with six home runs. In her sophomore year, she led the team with 20 RBI and six multi-RBI games. During Hosack's junior year, she was the Bears primary catcher and boasted a .366 on-base percentage. She posted 47 hits, including 11 homers, and a .533 slugging percentage her senior season.
Hosack earned her degree in Health Sciences from Baylor in 2014.
