Mocs Fall to ETSU in SoCon Action

UTC loses 7-0 to the Bucs at the Champions Club
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 match to ETSU at the Champions Club this afternoon. UTC is now 1-1 in SoCon action and 9-6 overall while the Bucs improve to 15-1 and 4-0 in league matches.
Chattanooga won one doubles match on the day, a 6-4 win by senior Alison Storie and Junior Rachele Gazzola at No. 3. It was their second win in a row at No. 3 doubles.
"ETSU is a great team and they played really well today," stated head coach Jeff Clark. "Doubles was close and we won at No. 3, but they jumped on us in singles with wins in five of the six first sets. We need to put this one behind us and get ready for Mercer next week."
The Mocs host the Bears on Thursday, March 31, in a 2:30 p.m. match at the Champions Club.
