Iacono Set to Represent Chattanooga at ITA Women's All-American Championships

CHATTANOOGA (Sept. 17, 2026) – Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis sophomore Addison Iacono is set to compete among the nation's top collegiate players after earning a spot in the 2026 ITA Women's All-American Championships.
The nine-day event will take place Saturday through Sept. 27 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina. Pre-qualifying competition is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, followed by the qualifying rounds Monday and Tuesday. The main draw will begin Wednesday and continue through Sept. 27.
Iacono becomes the first Chattanooga women's tennis player to earn a spot in the ITA All-American Championships since Anastasia Zhukova in 2006.
"When we recruited Addison, competing in national championships was one of her goals," head coach Chad Camper said. "We're looking forward to watching her compete and give her best this weekend."
The tournament serves as one of four qualifying pathways to the NCAA Division I Individual Championships. Ten singles players will earn automatic NCAA berths, including the eight main-draw quarter-finalists and two feed-in consolation finalists.
