Mocs Host SoCon Saturday Doubleheader at Maclellan
1/26/2017 10:48:00 AM | Wrestling
UTC faces Campbell at Noon and Davidson at 2:00 p.m. (E.S.T.).
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wrestling team has a busy weekend ahead, hosting a doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Maclellan Gym. The Mocs open against Campbell at Noon (E.S.T.), followed by a 2:00 p.m. match against Davidson.
Â
The match against the Camels is a reschedule dual from Jan. 5 that had to be postponed due to weather. Campbell and Davidson are affiliate members of the Southern Conference in wrestling, so these are two huge league bouts.  Â
Â
Live video and live scoring is available for both duals this weekend. Links for both are located on the wrestling schedule page on GoMocs.com.
Â
The Mocs are currently in second place in the Southern Conference race at 2-0 in league duals, 4-7 overall. No. 16 Appalachian State leads the league at 5-0 (11-2), while Campbell is fifth at 1-1 (5-6). Davidson is looking for its first SoCon win at 0-2 (3-9).Â
