Hall, Zaporozhets in Doubles Finals at Georgia Southern

The Mocs posted another 10 wins at Georgia Southern today.

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team picked up 10 more wins at the Georgia Southern Invitational today.  The Mocs won six singles matches and have a duo in the finals in the doubles draw in Statesboro, Ga.

Junior Caroline Hall and freshman Bogdana Zaporozhets rallied from a 5-2 deficit to post a 7-5 win over Georgia State's Daniella Ramirez and Damira Muminovic. 

"It is great to have Caroline and Bogdana in the finals of the Doubles Flight today," stated head coach Chad Camper.  "I have been very pleased with our doubles play this weekend.  It has been an emphasis for us to have a doubles teams in the finals and this is the second tournament in a row we have done that." 

Junior Sydney Patton and freshman Emma van Hee trailed 3-0 and 4-1 before scoring a 7-6 (8) win over Georgia Southern's Arianne de Winter and Ella Monsey in the backdraw. 

Patton and junior Delaney Edwards also won two singles matches in the Blue backdraw.  Hall and Chalaganidze advanced to the semiss of the Blue draw before falling. 

"Tomorrow is a big day for the doubles and the last round of the singles, so we want to finish it strong," added Camper.
