HEAD COACH ANDY MEYER
"Our freshman sprinter [Sage Davis] won the 100 against a tough field. She closed hard the last 40 m into a headwind to win. Sage also ran an impressive anchor leg in the 4x100."
Â
"Abby Bateman ran well to win the 800."
Â
"Nicole [Buehrle] had a great weekend. She had never ran the 3k steeplechase and won the race in her first attempt lead right from the start. She then won the 400 finishing into a strong headwind and closed hard to finish second in the 800."
Â
"Hannah Salami also attempting her first ever race in the 400IM finishing second overall was quite impressive. Julia finished second in the 1500 ran a very smart race and had great position throughout to close hard."
Â
"Overall girls did quite well for this race to get the results the ladies managed is a testament to their character and hard work!"
Â
"The guys not to be out done, Josh had a great 200 m kick to go from fourth to second in the men's 1500. Mark and Jonathan ran well in the 5K to place third and fourth.
