Mocs Finish Fall Season at Southern Miss

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team wraps up fall 2020 action at the Southern Miss Invite this weekend. The Mocs travel to Hattiesburg, Miss, for the three-day event on Oct. 23-25.
UTC is joined by the host Golden Eagles, MTSU and South Alabama. The all of the matches are counted as individual contests, with UTC taking on the Jaguars on Friday at 3:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) at the Southern Miss Tennis Facility. The Mocs face Southern Miss on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at MTSU on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
"This will be our final event of the fall, and our 4th tournament weekend in a row," stated UTC head coach Chuck Merzbacher. "It's been great for these guys to get all these matches in and I feel like we are in the competitive groove.
"It's been a productive fall for everyone on the team and this tourney will help us build on our progress. All these teams are strong, and each match will be hard fought. The energy has been at a high level and we seem to be getting stronger with each competitive day. We look to finish strong at Southern Miss."
