Women’s Tennis Opens Fall Slate at Stetson Invite This Weekend

The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team heads to Florida to kick off its 2024 fall campaign.
CHATTANOOGA (September 19, 2024) – The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team is set for its first weekend of 2024 fall competition as the program heads to DeLand, Florida, for the Stetson Invite I this Friday and Saturday at the Hatter's Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
Chattanooga joins host Stetson along with Kennesaw State and Louisiana as the event's competitors. The host school will provide stiff competition as the program is coming off its third-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2024 and second ASUN conference title in the past three years.

The kick-off of fall competition each year always marks an exciting and intriguing time for tennis programs around the country as preparations for the spring officially commence. The Mocs are eager to hit the court for the first time against quality competition.
"The team is pumped to be competing this weekend at Stetson," said head coach Chad Camper. "There are some real quality programs which will allow us to see what we need to work on moving forward."
The Chattanooga squad returns five letterwinners from last year's crew including All-SoCon performer Rozalie Dohnalova and SoCon All-Freshman selection Madlena Orlova. Alice Hall, Margaret Manolache and Emma Pedretti also return to the team in 2024-25 while Zara Burns and Savannah Presson account for the program's two newcomers.
The Stetson Invite I runs from Friday through Saturday with live stats available HERE and on the schedule page, courtesy of the hosts. Full results and recap will be made available at GoMocs.com following the event's conclusion on Saturday.
