Mocs Continue Momentum With Pair of Five-Set Wins
Chattanooga (10-8, 4-2 SoCon) tied its longest winning streak of the season (3) after securing a pair of thrilling five-set victories last week, defeating Western Carolina (W, 3-2) in Cullowhee on Thursday and Samford (W, 3-2) at home on Saturday. The Mocs pulled off a reverse sweep on Thursday against the Catamounts after falling behind 2-0. UTC and Samford went back-and-forth Saturday before the Mocs earned a 15-10 win in the fifth.

Milestone Watch in Effect for Jackin
Senior outside Sydney Jackwin is nearing a long list of career milestones entering the weekend against Furman and The Citadel. Jackwin currently sits 24 digs (976) and 31 kills (969) shy of reaching the 1,000-mark for her collegiate career while sitting just five (95) aces shy of 100. She has recorded 595 kills, 554 digs and 61 aces in her two-year UTC career after spending two seasons at Louisiana Tech (2023-24).

First Set Key for Mocs Success
Chattanooga has played to a 7-2 record this season when capturing the first set of the match. The Mocs are a perfect 2-0 in such cases during SoCon play with wins coming at Mercer (W, 3-0) and Wofford (W, 3-1). However, UTC dropped both opening sets last week in the pair of five-set wins to move to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in league play in such scenarios.

Looking to Snap the Skid Against the Dogs
Chattanooga holds a 34-10 overall record against The Citadel in 44 all-time meetings, however, the Bulldogs have claimed the last four meetings and seven of the last 10 against the Mocs. All 10 of the Bulldogs wins in the series have come since 2018.
