Mocs Defeat Furman & The Citadel, Extend Win Streak to Five
Chattanooga (12-8, 6-2 SoCon) earned a pair of SoCon road wins last week beginning at Furman (W, 3-2) on Friday before concluding the trip with a sweep (W, 3-0) at The Citadel on Saturday. The Mocs have now won five-straight matches dating back to the run's start on October 4 (W, 3-1 vs. WOF).

Five-Match Win Streak Shows Historical Significance
Chattanooga's five-match win streak within SoCon regular season play is the longest such streak for the program in a single season since a W5 streak in 2006. During the streak, UTC won three five-set matches in-a-row for the first time since 2005 and first time doing so within SoCon regular season place since 1997.

SoCon First-Half Complete, Mocs Off to Best Start Since 2015
Saturday's match at The Citadel marked the official halfway point of Southern Conference regular season play. Chattanooga finished the first half with a 6-2 record, its best mark at the halfway point of league play since a 7-1 start in 2015. The Mocs currently sit alone in second place, two matches behind unbeaten ETSU.

Jackwin Reaches Career Milestone, Nears Another
Senior outside Sydney Jackwin recorded her 1,000th career dig during Saturday's win at The Citadel. In addition, Jackwin also sits just three kills shy (997) of 1,000 for her career. The senior played two seasons at Louisiana Tech (2022 & 2023) before transferring to Chattanooga last season ahead of the 2024 campaign.

Mocs Look to Avenge Earlier Loss to Bucs
UTC fell in a dramatic 3-2 contest at ETSU in the first matchup between the two teams on September 27 in Johnson City. The Mocs trailed 2-1 in the match before extending the match to a deciding fifth set, a set where UTC sat on multiple match point opportunities at 14-11 before ETSU ended the match on 5-0 scoring run.

First Set Key to Mocs Success
Chattanooga has played to a 9-2 record this season when capturing the first set of the match. The Mocs are a perfect 4-0 in such cases during SoCon play after winning both first sets last week at Furman and The Citadel.
