The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team finished off their week with a runner-up finish at the Chris Banister Invitational. The Mocs shot 904 following a final round 299 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Silver Lakes. The Mocs finished behind No. 21 Tennessee and ahead of host Jacksonville State in the 16-team field. Sophomore
Bella Bugg led the way with the first top 3 finish of her career.

- Second straight 299 from the squad. Todays was led by Kera Healey's 1-under 71. Bugg added 74 with twin 77s from Makenzie Cooper and Erin Wells.
- Bugg's T3 finish is her first collegiate top 3. It's her second top 20 in three starts. She's averaging 74.00 strokes per 18 to start her Mocs career.
- Healey tied for the tournament lead in par 5 scoring at 2 under.
- Bugg was second in pars with 41 and third in fewest bogeys (8). She played par or better on 85.2 percent of her holes (46/54).
- Three in top 20 for second time this season.
- Eight birdies in the final round and 20 for the tournament. That's after 73 the last two tournaments: 35 in Guadalajara & 38 in Phoenix.
