Men's Tennis Opens Fall Slate at Austin Peay Fall Invitational
CHATTANOOGA (Sept. 10, 2026) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team opens its 2026 fall schedule this weekend at the Austin Peay Fall Invitational, held Friday through Sunday at the Governors Tennis Courts in Clarksville, Tenn.
The three-day event features Chattanooga, Austin Peay, Alabama A&M and Tennessee Tech. Each match will be played in a dual-style format, beginning with doubles before transitioning into singles competition.
Chattanooga opens the weekend against Tennessee Tech on Friday afternoon before facing host Austin Peay on Saturday morning. The Mocs conclude the event Sunday against Alabama A&M.
Match times and locations are subject to change due to rain in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday. Updated information will be provided when available.

Chattanooga Notables
- Chattanooga begins its eight-event fall schedule this weekend in Clarksville… the Mocs finished the 2025-26 season with a 12-13 overall record and advanced to the semifinal round of both the Southern Conference Tournament and UTR Sports NIT Championship.
- UTC returns five starters from last season's lineup, led by senior Jakub Jupa… Jupa earned All-Southern Conference honors after competing at the No. 1 singles position and putting together a 13-match winning streak during dual play.
- Seniors Martin Delnido and Jaxon Lamb, along with juniors Julian Franzmann, Sebastian Johnson, Jackson Orsega and TJ Ryerson, make up an experienced returning group… Franzmann and Lamb were regularly paired in doubles last spring.
- The Mocs welcome two newcomers to the 2026-27 roster… junior transfer Maxime Aremon arrives from Cleveland State, where he climbed as high as No. 84 in the ITA Division I national doubles rankings, while freshman Alejandro Conde joins the program from nearby Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
Austin Peay Notables
- Austin Peay opens its fall schedule at home after finishing the 2025-26 campaign with a 5-14 overall record… the Governors defeated Bellarmine 4-3 in the opening round of the ASUN Championship for their first postseason victory since 2015.
- Senior Rohan Loubser and junior Logan Tomovski return after leading Austin Peay with an 8-3 doubles record from the No. 1 position last spring… the duo also earned a ranked 6-2 victory against Alabama in April.
- Sophomore Vincent Lu returns after clinching the Governors' postseason victory over Bellarmine with a three-set win at No. 2 singles.
- APSU features nine players on its 2026-27 roster, including freshmen Ari Allouche and Remy Baumann and Longwood transfer Petter Lindquist.
