Men’s Golf Eye Final Round Move in Ohio

Camden Braidech and the Chattanooga Mocs head into the final round at the Bearcat Invitational.
The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team is ninth after 36 holes of the Bearcat Invitational. The squad turned in consistent rounds of 284 and 285 for a 1-over par total of 565. That puts Chattanooga two shots behind Sam Houston in eighth and one clear of Little Rock in 10th.
The trio of Evan Rogers, Camden Braidech and Griffin Law are all tied at even par. Thad Whitfield is one back at 1 over, while Billy Abdow is 4 over at Coldstream Country Club.
Liberty leads at 554, three ahead of TCU in second and eight clear of Memphis, Louisville and Augusta in third at 562. The final round begins at 9 a.m., in a shotgun start Tuesday morning.

- Chattanooga began on holes 1-4 in a shotgun start.
- It was a consistent effort throughout the group in round one with Rogers' 1-undder 70 leading the way followed by level par for Braidech and Law. Abdow and Whitfield both turned in 72s.
- The counting cards registered 17 birdies over the opening 18. Rogers had six
- Braidech, Law and Whitfield led the second round with 71. Rogers shot 72 and Abdow 74.
- The counting cards had an eagle and 13 birdies in round two.
