Men’s Golf Returns to the Tee in Cincinnati

The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team heads to tourney No. 2 of the 2026-27 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Mocs are part of a solid field at the Bearcat Invitational. Play begins with 36 holes on Monday before the final 18 holes on Tuesday at Coldstream Country Club.

Notes

Opened with 9-under 831 in Knoxville. The last time the Mocs shot par or better over the opening two events was 2008 with wins at the Scenic City Invite (-45) and Carpet Capital Collegiate (E). That squad ranked No. 1 in the nation on Sept. 25 of that year.
The program has never started a season with back-to-back red-number totals.
2023 Bearcat Invite champs shooting 14-under 838 led by Paul Conroy '24 with a third-place finish (-7, 206). It's one of 11 team wins under Woodruff since his arrival in 2022-23.
Braidech, Rogers & Whitfield return to the starting lineup. Whitfield re-qualified while Braidech (T7) and Rogers (Win) were exempt due to top 10 finishes.
Rogers is now 4 over for his collegiate career (39 rounds). Only one Mocs, John Houk (2023-24), has completed a career under par. Houk played his final two collegiate seasons in the Scenic City at 29 under.
17 under par team rounds in the last 23 totals (282.70). The squad is 41 under over that stretch.
