
Junni Nabs 13 Saves in Lady Mocs 4-1 Loss to UNCG

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ? Chattanooga's freshman keeper Milla Junni (Hyvenkaa, Finland) grabbed 13 saves Thursday night, but it wasn't enough as the UNC Greensboro Spartans defeated the Lady Mocs 4-1 in Southern Conference action at the North River Soccer Complex.
The Spartans (6-3-0, 3-0-0) scored quickly, grabbing a 1-0 lead at the 2:52 mark of the game. In a two-on-one attack, Kelly Attayek dished the ball to Kristen Player in the middle of the box for the first score of the game.
The Lady Mocs (0-6-2, 0-1-1) knotted the match at 1-1 in the 20th minute on freshman Sara Francescon's team-high third goal of the season at the 19:33 mark.
The second half would gradually belong to the Spartans who tallied three goals in the period. In the 60th minute, Jenn Partenheimer took a shot off a corner kick that rebounded off Junni and back to her and she found the back of the net with the game winner.
