UNCG Dual Meet Madness
Mocs Heads to UNCG Dual Meet Madness Sunday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's indoor track and field team will run this weekend at the UNCG Dual Meet Madness in Greensboro, N.C.

"We have 14 going this weekend," Chattanooga head coach Andy Meyer said. "We hope to continue the success achieved by several individuals last weekend."

Kennedy Thomson (Catharine's, Ontario) will again run the mile along with Sydney Gilliam (Brentwood, Tenn.). Anna Kate Chance (Columbia, Tenn.), Hannah Caldwell (Brentwood, Tenn.), Rebekah Wich (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) and Brianna Nelson (Jefferson, Wis.) will all compete in the 3000 meter run.

Mercedes Bright (Kingsport, Tenn.) will compete in both the 60 meter and 200 meter dashes. Taylor Sawyer and Kelsey Henry (Soddy Daisy, Tenn.) will join her in the 200 meter while Maddie Christian (Lenoir City, Tenn.) will run the 400 meter. Nichole Buerhle (Sugarloaf, Pa.), Julia Henderson (Brentwood, Tenn.), Haley Morris (Lenoir City, Tenn.) and Abby Bateman (Jefferson City, Tenn.) will represent the Mocs in the 800 meter middle distance race.

"It was a great first time experience for many of the girls and now this week they will be applying that to this week's performance.

"We are looking for podium performances from Anna Kate Chance and Kennedy Thomson."
