The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team won four of five singles matches on the first day of the Louisville Invite in Louisville, Ky., today.

UTC had a pair of three-set matches in singles play. Freshman Jeffrey Dewald dropped one in the C Draw to Temple's Eric Biscovenau [7-5, 1-6, 1-0 (9)], but junior Jacob Marshall defeated Xavier's Matt Graff [6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (7)] D Draw

Freshman Quinten Nevenhoven beat Toledo's Luis Kleinschnitz (8-5) in a pro set in the E Draw. Junior Kaisei Kuroki and sophomore Bo Nash also won pro set matches today. UTC lost both of its doubles matches in the morning action.
