Hudson's Efforts Not Enough in Charleston

Chattanooga softball senior pitcher Celie Hudson recorded her 51st career complete game in the circle and allowed just three hits in a 2-1 loss to Charleston.
CHATTANOOGA --- Senior Celie Hudson fired her fourth-straight complete game, allowing just three hits and two earned runs while striking out nine, but suffered the loss in a 2-1 walk-off decision to tournament-host College of Charleston in the Holy City Showdown on Saturday afternoon.
Chattanooga drops to 5-9 on the season following the loss while Charleston improved to 8-9.

· Chattanooga drops back-to-back games for the fourth time this season and moves to 5-9 overall in 2020.
· The team struck out 12 times, tying a season high, and marking the fourth time this season with double-digit strikeouts on offense.
· Celie Hudson fired her fourth-straight complete game and has posted back-to-back outings with two earned runs or less and at least six strikeouts. She allowed only three hits while striking out nine in Saturday's loss to Charleston.
