CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs cross country teams will host the UTC Home Meet at the Camp Jordan Race Course Friday, October 13.
Â
The women's 6-kilometer race will start at 9:30 a.m. across from the Camp Jordan Arena. The men's 8K will follow at 10:15 a.m.
Â
"We are pleased to get to race at home this week," Mocs head coach Andy Meyer said. "It will be a great prep race for the conference meet in a couple weeks. It is also a great race for our seniors to be able to race one last time at home.
Â
"Emma Russum, Emmy Davis, Jasper Wilson and Kaigan Mulkey will be greatly missed by our team and me personally.Â
Â
Maryville College, the UTK Running Club, Dalton State women, Agnes Scott and the University of the South will send teams to compete. Lee University will send a few individuals and some former Mocs will be racing as well.
Â
"We also wish to thank all our sponsors, PowerAde, FastBreak Athletics and the Chattanooga Track Club," Meyer said. "Without them, this would not be possible."
Â
Timing and scoring provided by the Chattanooga Track Club. No live scoring or streaming is available for this event.
