CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga women's track and men's cross country team are headed to Cleveland, Tenn., for the Flames Invitational hosted by Lee University at the Ray Conn Sports Complex.

"We are looking forward to heading back to Lee this weekend," Mocs head coach Andy Meyer said. "This second Lee meet is as competitive as any meet in the southeast. We are fortunate to have several kids meet the qualifying standards. There will be over 70 teams across the country at this meet."

Friday's running events will begin with Jasper Wilson and Eric Mitchell in the men's 10,000 meter run at 9:45 a.m.

Imani Bryant is next up in the women's 200 meter dash at 1:15 p.m. with the 1500 meter next at 2:30 p.m. Leah Boyd and Andrea Ellis will run in the first heat. Julianna McReynolds is in the second and Lesley Green is in the fifth heat.

Eammon O'Bryant and Aaron Isbell are up next in the third heat of the men's 1500 meter run.

Next for Chattanooga is the 400 meter hurdles. Sarah Unterholzer is in the third heat with Reagan Ruth in the fourth.

Friday will close out with the men's and women's 5000 meter run. The women will run at 5:00 p.m. with Allie Potter in the first heat, Faith Brown in the second and Green and Maddie Wheatcroft in the fourth.

Erik Martinez will run the men's 5K at 5:50 p.m.

On Saturday, Emma Russum will get things started by competing in her first 3000 meter Steeplechase at 10:30 a.m. and Eammon O'Bryant will be in the men's first heat of the steeplechase at 11:05 a.m.

Jessie Rennich will lead off the women's 4x100 meter relay at 11:45 a.m. Wheatcroft will run the second leg with Ruth and Bryant closing it out.

Rennich will be on her toes for the 400 meter dash up next at 12:10 p.m., but she'll have time to catch her breath in the sixth heat. The women's 100 meter hurdles start at 1:10 p.m. with Ruth in the fourth heat.

At 2:00 p.m., Emmy Davis will fun heat number 5 in the 800 meter run and freshman Lexi Foley will be in the sixth. Bryant is up for sixth heat of the 100 meter dash at 3:15 p.m. and Hannah Dearing is in the sixth to close out the weekend.

"All the races/heats are highly competitive, and the kids will have to be at their very best," Meyer said. "This meet is a great prep race for the intensity and focus required for the final couple upcoming meets into the conference championship."
