"I think we're going to see a lot of growth out of our young guys that were in our lineup last year. They have a lot of experience, but there's going to be a lot of weight classes contested. We don't know exactly who's going to be our starters at this point, and that's a good problem to have, because that means we have some depth." – Coach Kyle Ruschell on the competition ahead
Â
"I think. 125. Whoever comes out of that one, there's going to be a good matchup. 149, with Hunter Mason coming up and Cody Chittum coming down. They have to win to get there with five guys at that weight class, and Will Anderson was a freshman last year that wrestles hard. Everyone has to be ready to go, but I think everybody's looking forward to those two potentially matching up. And then 157, we got four guys. They're going to go out there and scrap pretty hard." – Ruschell on highlighted bouts
Â
"Ethan has been training hard for the u23 World Championships.
It's just a great experience for somebody him to wrestle for a country. We're looking forward to just seeing him get out there, compete hard and then getting back here to wrestle." – Ruschell on Vergara at worlds event
