Ethan Whitaker and the Chattanooga Mocs are right back to the tee this week in Greensboro, N.C.

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs are back on the tee this week for the Qubein Cup. The Mocs 6-man squad takes on a strong field for the 2-day, 54-hole romp through Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
Play starts with 36 holes on Monday and closes with a final 18 Tuesday. The starting lineup includes Camden Braidech, Garrett Engle, Braedon Wear, Ethan Whitaker and Dalton Chuba. Nick Etherton is in play as well as an individual.
Braidech has paced the Mocs over the opening two events tying for 17th at the Bearcat Invitational and 13th at last week's Cullan Brown Collegiate. The latter was matched by Engle.
Monday's shotgun start has the field on the course at 9 a.m. The Mocs are paired with Michigan, Texas A&M and host High Point. They start on holes 1-5. Etherton starts his day on No. 17.

- First entry in the Qubein Cup.
- First of two trips to central North Carolina heading back in the spring to Mid Pines Golf Club for the Ross Intercollegiate.
- Lineup matches the opener at Cincinnati with the exception of an individual (Nick Etherton).
- Camden Braidech, Braedon Weak & Ethan Whitaker have qualified for all three starts. Second time in the lineup for Engle and Chuba.
- 3rd season under Coach Blaine Woodruff, 28th event. Program has six team wins and four medalists over that stretch.
- Braidech led the squad in the opening two events. The transfer from Liberty fired a 3-under 68 over the final round of the Bearcat Invitational to move 35 spots up the leaderboard into the top 20 (T17). His second round 70 (-1) at the Cullan Brown was one of just three under par rounds out of 249 cards in the event.
