About the Bulldogs
- A win Saturday would make it three in a row. Wright has had at least one 3-game win streak every season. His 6-year stretch is the longest by a single coach. The team had a 9-season run from 1977-1985 under Joe Morrison, Bill Oliver & Buddy Nix.
- 8-1 in last nine SoCon road games. 16-7 under Wright on the SoCon highways and byways.
- The comeback from a 17-point deficit Saturday (38-21) is the largest fourth quarter comeback since the 36-28 at Furman on Oct. 23, 2010 coming back from 28-10 with 13:53 left on the clock.
- Wright's squads are 14-2 (.875) coming out of the last three midseason byes: 1-0 (2025), 5-0 (2024), 3-1 (2022) & 5-1 (2021).
- The Mocs rank sixth in the nation in red zone offense (94.4%).
- Offensive line is now second in the league in sacks (1.43) & TFLs allowed (5.3). The average was 8.5 TFL after two games but down to 4.0 TFL over the last five including a season-low 2.0 at VMI. There were six sacks in the first two but just four since with zero the last two weeks.
- K Jude Kelley scored on a 8-yard fake FG in the win over ETSU. It is believed to be the 1st kicker TD in school history. He is the SoCon Special Teams Player of the Week.
- QB Camden Orth threw for a season-best 343 passing yards and had a career-high 374 yards total offense in the win over ETSU earning TSWA Offensive Player of the Week plaudits.
